Trainee Financial Planner – £42k + Bonus – Hybrid/Flexible – Devon

About the role

Join a respected Chartered Independent Financial Planning firm as a Trainee Financial Planner. You will be supported to develop into a fully qualified adviser, managing an inherited client bank of roughly £40m AUM while working in a hybrid, flexible environment based in Devon.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver holistic financial advice across pensions, investments, protection, estate and inter‑generational wealth planning.
• Build and maintain long‑term client relationships, focusing on exceptional outcomes.
• Utilise the firm’s advanced technology and AI tools to improve efficiency and reduce administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with a dedicated administrator and paraplanning team to prepare client recommendations.
• Progress towards Chartered status through study support and exam days.

Required profile

• Experienced paraplanner with some client‑facing exposure, or a trainee adviser seeking the next career step.
• Strong commitment to professional development and achieving Chartered Financial Planner qualification.
• Desire to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative culture.
