Trainee Financial Planning Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic recent graduate to join our growing financial services firm as a Trainee Financial Planning Administrator. Based at our head office just outside Bury town centre, the role offers a solid entry point into wealth management with full support for professional qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Provide pre‑sales administrative support, preparing engagement letters and client documentation.
• Issue Letters of Authority, gather client information and obtain valuations, quotes and application forms.
• Prepare client files and support advisers ahead of meetings.
• Maintain back‑office systems, update client records and manage adviser diaries and schedules.
• Assist with client communications, newsletters and updates.
• Handle incoming calls, respond to enquiries and greet visitors.
• Perform general administration, filing and ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a strong interest in financial services.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
• Team‑player comfortable in a busy environment.
• Commitment to studying towards CII professional qualifications.
