Trainee Health and Safety Advisor – No Experience Needed

About the role

This traineeship is designed for individuals with no prior health and safety experience who want to launch a career protecting workplaces across the UK. You will study online at your own pace, gain recognised qualifications and receive dedicated support to secure your first health and safety position.

Key responsibilities

• Complete the IOSH Managing Safely course and learn to assess and control workplace risks.
• Earn the NEBOSH General Certificate and understand health and safety legislation.
• Conduct practical risk assessments and develop control measures for real‑world scenarios.
• Work with the recruitment team to prepare applications, attend interviews and secure a placement.

Required profile

• Motivation to start a new career in health and safety.
• Ability to work independently in an online learning environment.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Required skills

• IOSH Managing Safely certification (or willingness to obtain it).
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or willingness to obtain it).
• Basic understanding of risk assessment methodology.
