Trainee Mortgage Advisor – Chatham

About the role

This is an entry‑level position for individuals who want to start a career in mortgage advice. You will receive full training, warm leads and a clear progression path while working alongside experienced advisers and estate‑agency teams in Chatham.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mortgage and protection advice to customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients to generate repeat and referral business.
• Collaborate with estate‑agency colleagues to maximise warm leads.
• Identify new business opportunities and proactively generate referrals.
• Access whole‑of‑market mortgage products to find the best solutions for clients.
• Manage customer cases from enquiry through to completion.
• Maintain FCA compliance and deliver excellent customer service.

Required profile

• Passionate about helping people achieve home‑ownership goals.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑focused and professional.
• Organised, customer‑focused and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• CeMAP qualification or working towards it is advantageous.
