Trainee Mortgage Advisor

About the role

This trainee position provides a pathway into mortgage advisory within an estate agency environment. You will receive structured training, mentorship and a company‑funded CeMAP qualification while supporting experienced advisors.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Mortgage Advisors with mortgage administration tasks.
• Manage applications from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Communicate with clients, delivering excellent service throughout the mortgage journey.
• Liaise with lenders, solicitors, surveyors, estate agents and other third parties.
• Prepare and maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Provide administrative support to the wider mortgage team.
• Develop knowledge of mortgage products, lender criteria and FCA regulations.
• Build skills and confidence to progress into a Mortgage Advisor role.

Required profile

• Previous commercial, office‑based or customer‑facing experience.
• Genuine interest in building a career in mortgage advice.
• Excellent communication and telephone skills.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Professional, customer‑focused approach.
