Trainee Mortgage Advisor

About the role

We are looking for an ambitious Trainee Mortgage Advisor to join our growing financial planning business in London. This role provides a unique chance to learn from experienced advisers while building a foundation for a career in wealth management and financial planning.

Key responsibilities

• Support mortgage and protection advice delivery.
• Assist with fact‑finding and client reviews.
• Liaise with lenders and providers.
• Manage mortgage applications from enquiry through to completion.
• Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
• Build strong relationships with clients and professional contacts.
• Develop technical knowledge of mortgages, protection and financial planning.

Required profile

• CeMAP qualified or working towards the qualification.
• Experience in financial services, banking, mortgages or protection.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ambition to develop a long‑term career in financial advice.
• Comfortable using modern technology and CRM systems.
