About the role
Join Specsavers in Hounslow as a Trainee Optical Assistant and become the friendly face welcoming customers into the store. You will work alongside experienced professionals, delivering high‑quality eye‑care service while gaining valuable on‑the‑job training.
Key responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers entering the store
- Book eye‑test appointments and manage the booking system
- Pre‑screen patients before their eye examinations
- Provide style advice and help customers choose frames
- Measure frames for proper fit
- Answer phone calls and respond to customer enquiries
Required profile
- Friendly, customer‑focused attitude
- Willingness to work up to 40 hours per week, including weekends
- Enthusiasm for learning about optical retail and eye‑care services
