Trainee Paralegal

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Paralegal to join our Legal Team in Preston. This is an entry‑level position that offers hands‑on experience in residential property law, litigation support, and commercial contract administration within an in‑house environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist solicitors and property lawyers with property law matters, including title documentation, leases and estate rent charges.
• Prepare and submit applications to HM Land Registry and support post‑completion processes.
• Conduct legal and factual research, summarising findings for the team.
• Draft legal reports, correspondence and internal documentation under supervision.
• Provide administrative support for property, litigation and contractual matters.
• Maintain legal files, records and case documentation accurately.
• Support the review and administration of supplier contracts and commercial agreements.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders, external solicitors, HM Land Registry and other third parties as required.
