Trainee Production Operative – Quality Control (Entry Level)

About the role

This is an entry‑level position in engineering, offering hands‑on experience in production and quality control within a leading wastewater‑equipment manufacturer. You will split your time between practical work on the yard and office‑based inspection tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect and test motors, gear boxes and bearings.
• Carry out quality‑control checks at various stages of production.
• Verify deliveries for correct dimensions and quantities.
• Record inspection results and report any defects.

Required profile

• Motivation to start a career in engineering.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑5 pm with flexible start times.
