Trainee Project Engineer – Mechanical Pumps

About the role

This is a full‑time, entry‑level position for a trainee project engineer focused on mechanical pump systems. You will receive comprehensive training and then contribute to the delivery of pumping‑station projects for a growing water‑industry group.

Key responsibilities

• Support bespoke pumping‑station projects from the preparation phase through to hand‑over to site teams.
• Work closely with developers, clients and senior project engineers to produce quotations and cross‑reference plans.
• Handle administrative tasks, procure parts and materials, and maintain project documentation.
• Attend project meetings and generate reports for internal and client stakeholders.

Required profile

• School/college leaver or recent graduate with an engineering background.
• Qualified or studying in a mechanical engineering discipline.
• Able to commute to Camberley for an office‑based role.

Required skills

• Mechanical engineering knowledge.
• Understanding of pump systems and pumping‑station concepts.
