About the role
Our client is a precision engineering company serving the motorsport (F1), aerospace and medical sectors. They are seeking a motivated Trainee Quality Engineer to start a long‑term career in quality and precision engineering.
Key responsibilities
- Support AS9100 quality compliance.
- Assist with internal audits and documentation updates.
- Carry out visual and dimensional inspections using Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges and CMM equipment (full training provided).
- Record inspection data and maintain full traceability.
- Assist with non‑conformance investigations and CAPA.
- Support continuous improvement activities.
- Help prepare FAIRs, inspection reports and quality metrics.
Required profile
- Basic engineering or manufacturing understanding.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and organisational abilities.
- Proactive, eager‑to‑learn attitude.

What we offer
- Salary £13–£14 per hour.
- 39‑hour work week plus overtime.
- Full‑time, onsite role with immediate start.
