Trainee Recruitment Consultant – Education Sector

About the role

This is a full‑time trainee position within a specialist education recruitment agency. You will support the placement of teaching, programme delivery and leadership talent across universities, professional training organisations and private education providers in the UK.

Key responsibilities

• Source and headhunt high‑quality candidates for education‑focused roles.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Assist senior consultants on active mandates and client engagements.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their hiring needs and provide market insights.
• Develop knowledge of the higher‑education and commercial training sectors.

Required profile

• Degree‑educated with a strong academic background.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ambitious, self‑driven mindset with a desire to succeed.
• Strong organisational and time‑management capabilities.
• Experience in a commercial or telephone‑based environment is desirable.
