Trainee Recruitment Consultant – US Desk

About the role

We are seeking a candidate‑focused Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join our US Desk. Working alongside three senior consultants, you will support high‑performing mandates across investment banking, credit, and private equity, either from our London office or after a fully supported relocation to New York.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior consultants on live US mandates within front‑office finance markets.
• Build and maintain high‑quality candidate pipelines for investment banks and private equity firms.
• Conduct headhunting, market mapping, and competitor analysis.
• Manage recruitment processes from outreach to offer stage.
• Develop long‑term relationships with finance professionals across the US.
• Contribute to the growth and scalability of the delivery function.

Required profile

• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Ambitious, proactive, and highly organised.
