Trainee Sales Executive – Business Development (Entry Level)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Sales Executive to join our New Customer Team in Mitcheldean. This entry‑level position offers a structured pathway into business development, with full training and a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for prospective business customers.
• Research and identify potential clients, initiate conversations and schedule appointments.
• Engage with business owners and decision‑makers via phone, email and LinkedIn.
• Qualify inbound leads and pass them to senior Business Development Managers.
• Maintain accurate records in the HubSpot CRM system.

• Strong verbal communication and confidence on the phone.
• Positive, proactive attitude with a drive to achieve results.
• Eagerness to learn, accept feedback and develop new skills.
• Basic computer literacy and good organisational abilities.
