Trainee Sales Executive

About the role

Our client is seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Sales Executive to join a fast‑growing insurance sales team. This entry‑level position provides a full training programme, allowing you to develop the skills needed to succeed in car‑insurance sales without prior experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and outbound sales enquiries as the first point of contact for customers.
• Deliver accurate, clear product information in line with Treating Customers Fairly principles.
• Build relationships and trust with customers to drive conversions.
• Meet and exceed individual and company sales and quality targets.
• Contribute positively to team performance and company success.
• Support recruitment, mentoring and development of new starters.
• Stay up‑to‑date with industry developments and apply best practices.

Required profile

• Confident, target‑driven and customer‑focused.
• Strong communication and strategic thinking abilities.
• Ambitious, eager to learn and develop a sales career.
• No prior experience required – training will be provided.

Required skills

What we offer

• Basic salary from £18,500 per year.
• Guaranteed monthly bonus of £400 plus an on‑target earnings potential of £27,500‑£30,000.
• Full training programme covering sales processes and product knowledge.
• 40‑hour work week with shifts between 9:00 am‑7:00 pm and alternate Saturdays.
