Trainee Salesperson – Recruitment (Bristol)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Salesperson to join our recruitment team in Bristol. This entry‑level position offers a fast‑paced environment where you will develop sales and recruitment skills while working across engineering, IT, finance and technology sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Make 100+ cold calls daily to generate new business opportunities.
• Identify and engage potential clients in engineering, IT, finance and tech markets.
• Follow the company’s proven sales process to progress leads to successful placements.
• Maintain accurate records of contacts and activities in the CRM system.
• Collaborate with senior consultants to meet targets and build client relationships.

Required profile

• Highly motivated and driven to achieve sales targets.
• Strong telephone communication and etiquette.
• Eagerness to learn recruitment and sales techniques.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

What we offer

• Base salary of £28,000 per year.
• Uncapped commission with an OTE of around £50,000 in the first year.
