Trainee Service Engineer – £38k‑£42k + Overtime & Training

About the role
We are seeking a motivated Trainee Service Engineer to join our expanding team in Crawley. You will support customers across London and the South of England, servicing waste handling and loading bay equipment while receiving comprehensive training.
Key responsibilities
- Service and maintain waste handling equipment such as balers and compactors.
- Service loading bay equipment including dock levellers and scissor lifts.
- Travel within the assigned patch and respond to service calls.
- Participate in a 1‑in‑7 on‑call rota with an allowance.
Required profile
- Good electrical skills.
- Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of Crawley.
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Legal right to work in the UK and no criminal record.

What we offer
- Salary £38,000‑£42,000 per year.
- Regular overtime (time and a half) and double‑time opportunities.
- On‑call allowance of £700.
- Guaranteed 50‑hour pay week.
