Trainee Teaching Assistant – Supply (Primary/Secondary/SEN) – Bristol

About the role

This temporary position offers a fast‑track entry into classroom support across primary, secondary and SEND schools in Bristol. You will work on a supply basis, committing to at least two days per week, and receive a free three‑hour Teaching Assistant Introduction Course to help you settle quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery.
• Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support for pupils, including those with special educational needs.
• Help maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
• Support the implementation of safeguarding policies.
• Prepare and organise learning resources as directed.

Required profile

• Enthusiasm for working in an educational setting.
• Willingness to commit to a minimum of two days per week.
• Ability to travel within the Bristol area.
• Basic understanding of school routines and child protection.
