Trainer – Lifting Industry Training (UK)

About the role

Certex UK, a leading provider of lifting products, inspection and training services, is seeking an experienced Trainer (or a potential Trainer with relevant industry experience) to join the Harworth team. The role involves delivering NPORS and LEEA accredited training, travelling across the UK and occasionally overseas, and supporting delegates in their learning.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality NPORS and lifting industry training in line with NPORS, LEEA and Certex UK procedures.
• Plan, prepare and conduct training courses both on‑site at Certex Harworth and at customer premises.
• Ensure all training documentation, assessment records and certification paperwork are completed accurately and on time.
• Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, promoting best practice at all times.
• Support the development of new courses and training materials as required.
• Represent Certex UK professionally with customers and delegates.

Required profile

• Confident and engaging public presenter willing to travel across the UK (and occasionally overseas) at short notice.
• Current experience as a Trainer in the lifting industry delivering LEEA or NPORS accredited courses, or relevant experience such as Lifting Equipment Inspection Engineer, Mobile Crane Supervisor, Mobile Crane Examiner, etc.
• Strong commitment to health and safety and promotion of safe working practices.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to customer sites.
