Training Developer – Instructional Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Training Developer / Instructional Designer to join our team in Cumbria. The role involves analysing learning needs and creating engaging, effective training solutions that meet regulatory and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop training content using recognised instructional design methodologies.
• Analyse learning requirements and translate them into structured learning programmes.
• Manage and maintain training assets within Learning Management Systems (LMS) and related platforms such as SEMS.
• Collaborate with technical experts and stakeholders to ensure training aligns with organisational goals.
• Ensure all training materials comply with safety‑critical, quality‑assured and other regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in training design and content development.
• Strong digital proficiency and ability to work independently.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in regulated or compliance‑driven environments.
