Transaction Manager – Automotive Sales

About the role

The dealership group in Truro is looking for an experienced Transaction Manager to join its sales team. In this pivotal role you will structure deals, ensure regulatory compliance and help maximise profitability across the dealership’s automotive sales portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Support sales executives in building profitable, compliant deals from proposal to hand‑over.
• Oversee the entire transaction process, ensuring timely completion and accurate documentation.
• Present finance, warranty, GAP insurance and other add‑on products confidently and in line with FCA regulations.
• Negotiate with lenders to achieve the best terms and maximise profit per unit.
• Coach and mentor sales staff to improve conversion rates and deal quality.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Sales Executive, Transaction Manager, Business Manager or similar role within an automotive dealership.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering profitable deals.
• Excellent understanding of FCA compliance and regulated finance activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and senior management.

• Basic salary of £30,000 plus on‑target earnings up to £55,000+ (uncapped).
• Five‑day working week, Monday‑Friday 8:30 am‑6:00 pm, Saturdays 8:30 am‑5:00 pm.
