Transaction Manager – Gillingham

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Transaction Manager to join our high‑performing dealership in Gillingham, Kent. Working closely with the Head of Business, you will drive profitability and ensure a seamless customer experience across vehicle sales, finance and insurance products.

Key responsibilities

• Support the sales team in progressing and closing vehicle deals.
• Maximise profit through finance, GAP insurance, warranties and other add‑on products.
• Present tailored finance solutions and conduct part‑exchange appraisals.
• Manage finance documentation, proposals and payouts while maintaining FCA compliance.
• Achieve sales and finance targets and assist with audits and compliance requirements.
• Handle customer enquiries, build strong relationships and convert finance opportunities.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Transaction Manager within a franchised main dealer.
• FCA accreditation (essential).
• Strong knowledge of automotive finance and insurance products.
• Excellent negotiation, closing and vehicle valuation skills.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
