Transaction Services Assistant Manager

About the role

This position offers the opportunity to join a growing Transaction Services practice within a well‑established professional services firm. You will work alongside experienced deal professionals, developing technical expertise in financial due diligence while contributing to high‑impact buy‑side and sell‑side engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Support and deliver financial due diligence assignments across buy‑side and sell‑side transactions.
• Conduct in‑depth analysis of financial information, including quality of earnings, working capital, net debt, and cash‑flow assessments.
• Prepare clear, well‑structured client reports and presentations.
• Identify key deal risks and financial trends, communicating findings to clients and senior stakeholders.
• Manage your own workload across multiple concurrent engagements with guidance from senior team members.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the deal process.
• Contribute to the development and growth of the transaction services practice.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification (or close to completion).
• Minimum of 12 months experience in transaction services, financial due diligence, or a closely related deals environment.
• Strong analytical ability and confidence in interpreting and presenting complex financial data.
• Excellent written communication skills with experience drafting client‑facing reports.
• Proactive, commercially aware mindset and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Collaborative, team‑oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
