Transaction Services Manager – Financial Due Diligence

About the role

Join a leading UK professional services firm as a Transaction Services Manager, driving financial due diligence for buy‑side and sell‑side engagements. You will work directly with management teams of fast‑growing businesses and private‑equity clients, influencing key investment decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end financial due diligence projects from scoping to delivery.
• Prepare and interpret financial analysis using Excel and data‑driven tools.
• Conduct discussions with senior management to uncover business models, performance drivers and risks.
• Produce concise, issues‑focused diligence reports with commercial insight.
• Manage budgets, timelines, engagement letters and delivery risk.
• Develop junior staff through briefing, review and mentorship.
• Support business development and client relationship building.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Transaction Services or Financial Due Diligence.
• Proven ability to manage people or projects.
• Confident communicator comfortable with senior stakeholders.
• Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Microsoft Word.
• Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Exposure to Power BI or other data‑analytics tools.
