Transfer Pricing Senior Manager

About the role

We are seeking a senior professional to lead our transfer pricing practice within a leading professional services firm. Based in Manchester, you will work with a diverse client base ranging from owner‑managed businesses to multinational groups, delivering high‑quality tax and advisory solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead complex UK and international transfer pricing engagements, aligning advice with clients' commercial objectives.
• Design and implement transfer pricing frameworks to support restructurings, expansions and value‑creation initiatives.
• Advise clients on risk management in a rapidly evolving global regulatory environment.
• Collaborate with corporate tax, international tax, employment tax, audit and deal teams to provide integrated solutions.
• Act as the senior point of contact for key clients, deepening relationships and identifying cross‑selling opportunities.
• Contribute to the firm’s transfer pricing strategy, service offering development and thought leadership.
• Mentor and develop managers and junior staff, building a high‑performing team.
• Support business development activities, including proposals and strategic client discussions.

Required profile

• Significant transfer pricing experience gained in professional services or a complex in‑house environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK and OECD transfer pricing principles applied pragmatically.
• Proven senior advisory experience influencing client decisions and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Track record of contributing to revenue growth and new client acquisition.
• Confidence to work across disciplines and lead multi‑service engagements.
• Strong people‑leadership capabilities.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of UK transfer pricing legislation and OECD guidelines.
