Transformation Programme Lead (7‑month FTC)

About the role

This is a 7‑month fixed‑term opportunity to lead a high‑impact digital and AI transformation portfolio for a large public‑sector organisation. You will redesign people services using digital platforms, automation and AI‑enabled tools, ensuring solutions are simple, data‑driven and centred on staff needs.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a complex portfolio of transformation programmes from design through delivery.
• Develop and deliver a Digital & AI transformation roadmap aligned to organisational priorities.
• Drive adoption of digital self‑service, workflow automation and AI‑supported decision‑making.
• Establish robust governance, benefits realisation and risk‑management frameworks.
• Act as a senior change leader, building engagement, capability and confidence across teams.
• Ensure ethical, transparent and compliant use of workforce data and AI technologies.

Required profile

• Proven change agent with a strong track record delivering complex transformation programmes in large, matrix organisations.
• Significant experience leading transformation portfolios, preferably within people services or HR functions.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, automation, data and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Effective stakeholder engagement skills and ability to work in a hybrid setting based in Truro.
