Transformation Programme Lead – Digital & AI (7‑month FTC)

About the role

This 7‑month fixed‑term position is for a senior Transformation Programme Lead who will drive digital and AI‑enabled change across people services for a large public‑sector organisation. Working hybrid from Truro, you will shape a strategic roadmap, improve service delivery and embed data‑driven decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a complex portfolio of transformation programmes from design through delivery.
• Develop and execute a Digital & AI transformation roadmap aligned to organisational priorities.
• Drive adoption of digital self‑service, workflow automation and AI‑supported decision‑making.
• Establish governance, benefits realisation and risk‑management frameworks.
• Act as a senior change leader, building engagement, capability and confidence across teams.
• Ensure ethical, transparent and compliant use of workforce data and AI technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large‑scale transformation portfolios, preferably in people services or HR.
• Strong understanding of digital transformation, automation and AI‑enabled solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Experience working in matrix organisations and delivering change at scale.
