Transport Administrator

About the role

A1 Personnel is recruiting a Transport Administrator for a well‑established business in Stanford‑le‑Hope. The role involves coordinating inbound and outbound transport activities, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting customs and export processes. You will work within a busy, supportive team to ensure smooth logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily inbound and outbound transport schedules.
• Produce accurate transport and shipping documentation.
• Liaise with third‑party hauliers and obtain Proof of Deliveries (PODs).
• Track shipments and provide updates to internal teams.
• Support customs administration and export documentation.
• Maintain transport records and departmental KPI reports.
• Build strong relationships with transport providers and internal departments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in transport, logistics or supply chain administration.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Knowledge of transport documentation and supply chain operations.
• German language skills are advantageous but not essential.
