Transport Administrator – Night Shift (Full‑Time)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Transport Administrator to join our busy night‑shift operation in Stanford‑le‑Hope. Working Monday to Friday, you will support the transport team in keeping daily movements running smoothly and ensure clear communication between drivers, warehouse staff and internal departments.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct driver pre‑briefs at the start of each night shift and complete post‑shift de‑briefs, collecting all required documentation.
• Scan, file and maintain accurate transport paperwork.
• Liaise with warehouse teams to guarantee vehicles are loaded on schedule.
• Provide administrative support to the Transport Office and the Shift First Line Manager.
• Answer and direct incoming telephone calls professionally.
• Communicate with internal departments, including off‑site Customer Service teams.
• Ensure transport documentation complies with company procedures.

Required profile

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with drivers, warehouse staff and colleagues.
• Able to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
• Proactive, reliable and capable of using own initiative.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Comfortable using computer‑based systems for data entry and record keeping.
