Transport Co-ordinator – 35 hrs/week

About the role

The Transport Co-ordinator will support the delivery of quality passenger transport services in West Norwood, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements. This dynamic role blends administrative duties with hands‑on problem solving, offering variety throughout the workday.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for telephone, email and in‑person enquiries related to the depot and transport operation.
• Liaise regularly with the local authority, providing attendance updates for service users.
• Monitor and record Mechanical Replacement Vehicle (MRV) usage and report weekly to the vehicle insurer.
• Assist with vehicle compliance paperwork, including inspections, servicing, MOT and defect documentation.
• Update the Cordic dispatch system with changes to transport routes, adding or removing routes as required.
• Support the contract management team by notifying operational staff of any route amendments.
• Troubleshoot and provide user support for the Cordic dispatch system.
• Help complete timesheets and process payroll amendments for drivers and passenger assistants.
• Contribute to project work related to the depot and transport operation.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested by the management team.

What we offer

• Hourly rate of £14.80 (equivalent to £26,936 per annum).
• 35‑hour work week, Monday‑Friday.
• Shift patterns scheduled within operating hours of 06:00‑18:00.
