Transport Coordinator – Temporary (3 months)

About the role

Reed Business Support is looking for a proactive Transport Coordinator to join a busy logistics team for a three‑month assignment. You will be at the centre of daily transport activities, ensuring vehicles, drivers and deliveries move smoothly and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport schedules and driver routes.
• Monitor vehicle movements and delivery progress.
• Communicate with drivers, customers and internal teams.
• Maintain transport documentation and records.
• Respond to delivery queries and resolve issues promptly.
• Update transport management systems and keep data accurate.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and transport regulations.
• Provide general administrative support to the transport team.

Required profile

• Previous experience in transport, logistics, fleet coordination or related administration.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset.
• Flexible and positive approach to work.
