Transport HGV Compliance Administrator

About the role

This part‑time position supports a well‑established transport organisation in the Liverpool area. You will ensure that heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) and drivers meet DVSA regulations, Operator Licence requirements and industry best practice.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that all HGVs and drivers comply with DVSA and Operator Licence standards.
• Maintain fleet compliance records and support FORS accreditation.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance, defect reporting, driver licence checks and tachograph data via TachoMaster.
• Escalate driver infringements to the HSEQ Manager and produce monthly compliance reports.
• Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs and servicing with external providers.
• Maintain training records, identify training needs and deliver toolbox talks.
• Support internal and external compliance audits.

Required profile

• Previous experience in transport, fleet or compliance administration.
• Good knowledge of DVSA regulations, Operator Licence compliance and transport legislation.
• Familiarity with FORS standards and documentation requirements.
• Ability to manage maintenance schedules and produce accurate reports.

Required skills

• TachoMaster tachograph management system.
