Transport Planner

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our day‑shift team in Warrington. The role offers a stable, full‑time position with a competitive salary of up to £36,000, flexible shift patterns and excellent development prospects within a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Dispatch drivers in line with load requirements and drivers' hours of service.
• Conduct thorough driver briefings and debriefs.
• Monitor on‑site haulier activity and keep relevant systems updated.
• Perform periodic trailer checks and produce related reports.
• Act as the primary liaison between the warehouse and the client.
• Handle defects, VORs, call‑outs and other transport‑related issues.
• Maintain compliance standards across all operational areas.
