Transport Planner - Multi Drop

About the role

This position is for a Transport Planner specialising in multi‑drop concrete deliveries for a leading ready‑mix supplier in Yorkshire and the North East. You will own the end‑to‑end delivery process, from initial enquiry and quoting through to dispatch, driver coordination and post‑delivery close‑out.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and manage the drum fleet and drivers to maximise efficiency and revenue.
• Coordinate dispatch of ready‑mix wagons, ensuring customer requirements and operational targets are met.
• Provide accurate quotations and technical advice to customers on concrete supply.
• Act as the central contact point for drivers, customers and subcontractors, resolving on‑site or delivery issues.
• Organise production schedules and route planning for optimal resource use.
• Manage material orders and inventory for ready‑mix vehicles.
• Uphold health and safety standards and be available for emergency issues outside regular hours.
