Transport & Sales Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Transport & Sales Administrator to join our busy construction operations team in Bootle. The role blends transport coordination, customer service and sales support, offering a varied day‑to‑day environment where you will interact with multiple departments and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Arrange and monitor transport bookings, collections and deliveries to meet site requirements.
• Communicate with customers regarding delivery schedules, collection details and any on‑site specifications.
• Assist the sales team by preparing quotations, processing orders and handling related paperwork.
• Maintain accurate records in internal systems and ensure data is up‑to‑date.
• Provide general administrative support across the business to facilitate a smooth customer experience.

Required profile

• Previous administration experience, preferably in construction, logistics, hire or a related field.
• Strong organisational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
• Confident communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
• Positive, flexible and team‑oriented attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
