Transport Service Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Transport Service Specialist to join our Delivery Operations Team in York. This permanent position reports to the Transport Execution Lead and plays a key part in our 24/7 supply chain, ensuring timely movement of goods across the network.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hauliers, distribution centres, factories, customers, suppliers and co‑manufacturers to coordinate deliveries, collections and trailer availability.
• Keep internal and external stakeholders informed about any issues that may impact the transport network.
• Develop and implement plans to reduce delays and maintain seamless operations.
• Provide best‑in‑class customer service while contributing to the sustainability goals of the logistics network.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain and/or logistics environments.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and highly organised work style.
• Excellent communication skills for managing relationships with a wide range of internal and external partners.
