Travel and Tourism Lecturer

About the role

We are seeking a Travel and Tourism Lecturer to deliver high‑quality teaching to learners aged 16‑19 in further education settings across North‑West London. The position can be taken on a part‑time or full‑time basis on a temporary contract, paid at £30‑40 per hour inclusive of holiday pay.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum‑aligned lessons in travel and tourism.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Manage classroom behaviour and support a positive learning environment.
• Collaborate with college staff, prisons or training providers as required.
• Maintain accurate records and comply with assessment standards.

Required profile

• Teaching qualification such as AET, PTLLS, PGCE or Certificate in Education.
• Assessor qualification (e.g., A1, D33/D34, CAVA, TAQA, IQA) or willingness to obtain one.
• Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification in Travel and Tourism.
• Experience working with 16‑19‑year‑old learners in an educational or apprenticeship setting.
• Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent).
• Current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
