About the role

We are seeking an inspirational and commercially focused Travel Store Manager to lead a successful retail travel agency. You will drive sales performance, develop a high‑performing team and deliver exceptional customer experiences, helping travellers create unforgettable tailor‑made holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a high‑performing store team, creating a positive sales culture.
• Achieve and exceed sales, conversion and profitability targets while maximising revenue opportunities.
• Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, financial controls and health & safety standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer experiences by maintaining high service standards and resolving issues throughout the booking journey.
• Coach, train and support team members through regular performance management and development initiatives.
• Drive local business growth through marketing initiatives, events, promotions and community engagement.
• Analyse performance data, identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and commercial success.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders across the business, embracing new technology and supporting wider initiatives.

Required profile

• Previous management experience within the travel industry with a proven record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Strong leadership and people‑management skills, capable of motivating successful sales teams.
• Commercially astute with experience managing KPIs, profitability and overall business performance.
• Passion for travel and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Excellent communication, coaching and influencing abilities.
• Strong organisational, analytical and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced sales environment.
