Travel Systems Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Travel Systems Lead to own and evolve our mid‑office travel platform. You will act as the subject‑matter expert, collaborating with internal teams and technology partners to ensure the system is reliable, efficient, and continuously improving.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and optimise the mid‑office travel system, handling upgrades, testing, and releases.
• Drive process improvements through automation and workflow optimisation.
• Maintain data integrity across GDS, mid‑office, back‑office, and reporting platforms.
• Manage integrations with booking tools, CRM, finance, and reporting systems, resolving issues with partners.
• Lead or support system implementations, migrations, and technology projects with minimal disruption.
• Produce and maintain system documentation, configuration standards, and best‑practice guides.
• Provide expert support and training to operational teams.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders across operations, finance, sales, and technology.
• Mentor colleagues and share knowledge across the wider team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a corporate travel or TMC environment.
• Strong knowledge of mid‑office travel systems, preferably ProTAS.
• Good understanding of GDS platforms and travel‑technology integrations.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
