Treasury Accountant – FTSE 10

About the role

Join a leading FTSE 100‑listed group as a Treasury Accountant, working at the heart of Group Finance. You will support statutory accounts and management reporting for key treasury entities, gaining exposure to complex funding structures and senior stakeholders across a global business.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver statutory accounts and management reports for treasury entities with high technical standards.
• Analyse and forecast Group net finance costs, providing insight on debt, cash, derivatives and investments.
• Act as the primary Treasury contact, advising on financial instrument accounting, hedge accounting, FX and funding structures.
• Prepare hedge documentation, monitor effectiveness and support ongoing hedging strategies.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external auditors to ensure smooth reporting cycles.
• Maintain robust controls and ensure compliance with SOx and regulatory requirements.
• Partner with global and offshore finance teams to drive capability building and continuous improvement.
• Participate in ad‑hoc Treasury and Group Finance projects to broaden exposure.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a strong academic background.
• Solid experience in financial reporting and accounting for financial instruments.
• Good understanding of treasury activities, hedging and funding structures.
