Treasury Accountant

About the role

Our client, a multinational energy and infrastructure group, is expanding rapidly and needs a Treasury Accountant to support cash management and funding activities in London. You will work within a dynamic finance team, providing critical insight into liquidity and treasury operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly cash‑flow reports and forecasts.
• Monitor cash balances and liquidity requirements across the business.
• Manage payment processes and overall treasury operations.
• Support banking activities, including account administration and cash movements.
• Assist with debt‑facility administration and lender reporting.
• Produce treasury reporting and analysis for senior management.
• Contribute to short‑ and long‑term liquidity planning.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to understand funding needs.
• Support month‑end treasury accounting and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Help improve treasury controls, governance and processes.
• Respond to external audit requests related to treasury.

Required profile

• Previous experience in treasury, cash management or a finance‑related role.
• Strong understanding of cash‑flow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Experience managing payments and banking relationships.
• Exposure to debt facilities, project finance or lender reporting is advantageous.
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communicator able to build relationships across teams.
• Studying towards, qualified in, or interested in an accounting or treasury qualification (optional).

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
