Treasury Analyst – Hybrid, Manchester

About the role

Reporting to the Treasury Manager, you will support day-to-day treasury operations, ensuring efficient cash management, maintaining banking relationships and contributing to liquidity and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions and produce cash forecasts.
• Support short- and medium-term liquidity planning.
• Prepare treasury reports and analysis for senior stakeholders.
• Process and reconcile treasury transactions.
• Assist with opening, closing and maintaining bank accounts.
• Support payment approvals and treasury controls.
• Build and maintain relationships with banking partners.
• Assist with foreign-exchange and interest-rate risk monitoring where applicable.
• Contribute to treasury projects, including process improvements and system enhancements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Treasury Analyst or similar finance role.
• Understanding of cash management and treasury operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced Excel proficiency; experience with treasury management systems is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage stakeholders.
• Studying towards or qualified in ACT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA is beneficial but not essential.
