Trust Assistant Manager / Manager – Hybrid, Central London

About the role

TPF Recruitment is seeking a Trust Assistant Manager or Trust Manager to join a leading accountancy practice in Central London. The role works on a hybrid basis and supports high‑net‑worth clients, family trusts, estates and wealth‑preservation structures.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of UK resident trust clients, overseeing accounts and tax returns.
• Prepare and review trust accounts and trust tax compliance filings.
• Support inheritance tax planning, succession projects and trust restructuring assignments.
• Liaise with solicitors, financial advisers and HMRC on client matters.
• Mentor and review the work of junior team members, ensuring deadlines are met.

Required profile

• ACA, CTA or STEP qualified.
• 3–5 years’ experience in a Trusts, Private Client Tax or Estate Planning team.
• Proven experience preparing and reviewing trust accounts and tax returns.
• Strong understanding of UK trust taxation and private client tax matters.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
