Trust Grade Doctor – CAMHS (Child & Adolescent Mental Health)

About the role

The Trust Grade Doctor will join the Hammersmith and Fulham CAMHS team, providing assessment and treatment for children and young people aged 0‑18 with a wide range of emotional, behavioural and mental health difficulties. The role involves working across community (Tier 2) and specialist (Tier 3) services, including neurodevelopmental, psychosis and crisis pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and formulate diagnoses for children and adolescents.
• Manage referrals and urgent responses as part of the specialist CAMHS Duty Rota.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams such as Crisis, Eating Disorders, Early Intervention in Psychosis, DBT, community paediatrics and social care.
• Provide ongoing clinical follow‑up for patients with complex or long‑term needs.
• Contribute to service development activities and demand management across the wider CAMHS service.

Required profile

• Medical qualification and full registration to practise in the UK.
• Experience working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) or equivalent.
• Ability to work within a multidisciplinary, multi‑agency environment.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
