About the role
We are looking for experienced female drivers to join our twilight care team in Manchester. The role involves supporting people in their own homes during evening and night hours, helping them stay safe, comfortable and independent.
Key responsibilities
- Provide dignified personal care while respecting privacy and choice.
- Support individuals to achieve personal outcomes, working with families and professionals.
- Promote independence using enabling approaches and help clients stay connected to community services.
- Record and share information accurately with the appropriate parties.
- Work in pairs (double‑up care) and be part of an on‑call rota for guidance during shifts.
Required profile
- Female applicant (in line with Equality Act 2010).
- Previous experience as a care worker.
- Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel between client homes.
- Willingness to work twilight/night shifts (10 pm‑4 am) including some weekends.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £15.30 plus mileage reimbursement (50p per mile).
- Fully funded DBS check.
- Paid induction training (one week classroom, two days shadowing, online modules).
- Funding for Level 2 and other accredited courses.
