Twilight Manager – Retail Shift Leader

About the role

As a Twilight Manager you will lead the critical shift that bridges the day and night operations of an Asda store in Biggleswade. Working a rolling rota of five shifts over seven days, you will ensure product availability, high shop‑floor standards and a safe environment for customers and colleagues.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute trading activities during the twilight shift to meet availability targets and key performance indicators.
• Lead, coach and develop team leaders and colleagues to maintain excellent shop‑floor standards.
• Prepare the store for the night team, ensuring cleanliness, presentation and compliance with safety regulations.
• Drive process improvements and uphold Asda’s brand standards throughout the shift.
• Foster a culture of customer focus, teamwork and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising or managing teams in a retail grocery environment.
• Ability to make independent decisions with a hands‑on approach.
• Strong customer service orientation and flexibility to work twilight hours, including weekends.
• Confidence in developing teams and managing change.
