Tyre Fitter / Technician

About the role

Join Hedin Automotive’s workshop team as a Tyre Fitter / Technician, working on a full range of BMW and MINI vehicles. You will use manufacturer‑approved equipment to fit tyres and perform fast‑fit services while delivering high‑quality customer care.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle inspections and assess tyre requirements.
• Fit, remove and replace tyres on BMW and MINI models to manufacturer standards.
• Perform four‑wheel alignment and adjust vehicle geometry using specialist equipment.
• Check and service TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System).
• Meet productivity targets while maintaining excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with the Parts Department to manage tyre stock and report any losses or damage.
• Conduct tyre safety checks and ensure compliance with health & safety standards.
• Keep tools, equipment and the workshop clean, safe and well maintained.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Tyre Fitter or Vehicle Technician in a garage or fast‑fit environment.
• Eligibility to work in the UK and a clean, valid UK driving licence.
• Proactive, adaptable attitude with a willingness to support colleagues.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Tyre fitting and removal.

• TPMS testing and calibration.
• Use of specialist workshop equipment and manufacturer‑approved tools.
