UAS Remote Pilot

About the role

As a UAS Remote Pilot you will support mission delivery by monitoring flight operations, mitigating hazards, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will work closely with the RPIC and UAS operators, travelling to customer sites across the UK, Portugal, the US and Europe, while maintaining a base presence in South West England.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the RPIC in delivering safe and compliant UAS flights.
• Maintain detailed records of flights, incidents and safety assessments.
• Enforce company safety protocols and best‑practice procedures.
• Support operators with flight planning, pre‑flight inspections and post‑flight debriefings.
• Provide emergency response guidance during system failures or unexpected hazards.
• Train and mentor UAS operators on risk mitigation and operational best practices.

Required profile

• Team‑player able to operate in complex and challenging environments.
• Willingness to travel frequently to customer locations in the UK, Portugal, US and Europe.
• Availability to work a minimum of three days per week on‑site in South West England when not deployed.
• Mission‑driven mindset with a passion for innovation and defence technology.
