UK CAA B1 Licensed Engineer – A320/PW1000 – Luton

About the role

We are seeking a UK CAA B1 licensed engineer to join our line‑maintenance team at London Luton Airport. The role involves working on the A320 family equipped with PW1000G engines, on a 12‑hour shift pattern that includes both days and nights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, develop and motivate a junior maintenance team, leading by example.
• Ensure all tooling, equipment and premises are serviceable and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain compliance with company, EASA and CAA documentation and inspection requirements.
• Carry out line‑maintenance tasks while adhering to approved maintenance procedures and airworthiness standards.
• Produce accurate daily maintenance hand‑overs and manage shift‑pay and approvals documentation.
• Support cost‑effective use of manpower and resources, and undertake additional projects as required.

Required profile

• Valid UK CAA B1 licence with type rating on the A320 family.
• Experience on PW1000G engines (or willingness to be supported).
• Proven ability to manage a maintenance team and maintain high safety standards.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour mixed day/night shifts.
