UK Immigration Consultant

About the role

Our client in Didcot is looking for an experienced UK Immigration Consultant to manage a varied caseload, provide practical immigration advice to businesses and private individuals, and ensure compliance with Home Office regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage applications under the UK Points Based System, including Skilled Worker, Global Business Mobility, Innovator Founder, Global Talent and High Potential Individual visas.
• Advise employers on sponsor licence applications, compliance obligations, SMS management and audit preparation.
• Provide clear immigration advice to businesses, HR teams and individual clients.
• Prepare and review applications, supporting documents and detailed representations.
• Conduct right‑to‑work checks and advise on related compliance matters.
• Handle private client cases such as Family visas, UK Ancestry, Visitor visas, Indefinite Leave to Remain and British citizenship applications.
• Stay up to date with changes in immigration legislation and Home Office policy.

Required profile

• OISC Level 1 qualification or higher.
• Recent experience in a UK immigration role.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and see cases through from instruction to completion.
• Good IT skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Previous exposure to business development activities is beneficial.
